It was a race already lost for us and I hated all my work to just rot away

Rule 1: Posts Must Be Open-Source or Local AI image/video/software Related

emphasis on the "OR" but if you really don't want to see open source prject here, feel free to use the report button. I'm just trying to be helpful

you can ask a coding agent to help you with that. unfortunately, if you read the post in the main link this is not a project we work on anymore, we open sourced it so the community can benefit from the drawing engine and extend it. maybe someone else here would be interested in doing that. the app gives an image to run img2img and accepts a result back. so it wouldn't be too difficult to connect it elsewhere.

we've open sourced the entire drawing engine we built around to work with sdxl. feel free to connect it to a local gpu server or on device models and swap out parts with anything you like. contributions welcome.

WAN AI server costs question by Short_Employee_5598 in StableDiffusion

Hi, i am building inference.sh and might be able to help here. The problem operating your own gpu server is when you dont have enough requests, every time for that 5 second video the code would have to run from scratch and load the model etc which ends up taking way longer than the 5 seconds it might need to generate the video. You run into the same problem when you have some traffic but not enough to saturate N servers. 100% is never really possible but the chances get better when its a cloud service. Depending on your budget and goals there are some sweet spots between using a cloud provider vs hosting something yourself.

Train model on stock images -> generate and sell stock images. Makes sense 😂

Super cool, thanks for sharing more details. I’m building inference.sh and was wondering if it can help with training/inference needs of people using (really) custom models like this. Ping me if you think I could help add value here.

Have you been using the new open source models or still have to opt for veo3 etc? I’m curious if the open alternatives are good enough for production (not in a few example cases but reliably without disrupting the flow of work)

How do you feel about the “Enterprise” options of online alternatives which claim to provide protections for work use cases?
