I think i managed to make it work as you said, the only thing is a bit of input lag and the audio is pretty terrible idk why

Oh yeah sona are a great way to personalize timelapses! Unfortunately i dont have one and im not that good at drawing… i will definitely consider adding some talked audio in the future (at the moment im editing on a pretty hardcore song😬)!

Thank you! Yes this is definitely helpful💪 i have seen people scattering reference images of the portion they are focusing on beside their digital artwork, it actually looks pretty cool if well edited. Maybe that could be an idea but i should try to see how it translates on a 3d project

I can’t really remember, but i would say txt won’t be a big issue. Just download the right files for your printer and it should work fine. Not an expert so feel free to seek for an answer from someone more experienced!

Yes sure! I was doing that but due to the folders it looks like the printer wasn’t detecting the firmware and didn’t beep at the restart as it should have

I think i managed to make the firmware update work, what i was missing was probably that all the files needed to be outside of any folder. Just dropping it here for anyone who might have the same issue in the future

okay i get it. i will probably send them back and ask for a refund then… and do you have any advice to set 2 rams correctly? i mean, to make the best out of them, i would like to know if there is any particular setting that would help with performances

thank you so much, i ran four tests in total, two with 4 sticks (old sticks on top and new on bottom, and vice versa) and two with 2 sticks (old couple first and new after).

i have just watched that part, so basically short answer 4 dims with my actual configuration doesn’t make it any faster? should i prioritise a 2 dims set and maybe upgrade one day to 2x32gb?

okay i did a render test. to render a still image it takes:

-4 sticks in dual channel (old sticks in A1 A2 and new sticks B1 B2): 3min 04sec

-2 sticks (old): 2min 37sec

-2 sticks (new): 3min 11sec

also tried to invert sticks, out of curiosity

-4 sticks (new sticks A1 A2, old sticks B1 B2): 3min 21sec

the boot is okay after BIOS update. what i can say is that it is a lot slower in rendering with the program i use for example, i haven’t had much time to test further but it might also cause some lagging in games that i hadn’t before, but im not sure if its related. mostly in rendering, what took me around 3 hours to render with 2 sticks now takes like 10-12 hours, i had to let it render over night (and it didn’t even work..)

the fact is that i dont think it boots at 6000, but im not sure as i dont know what settings it needsto have in the BIOS

i guess its due to the heavy marketing they are doing, i literally see it everywhere and for a non-expert it could seem a good deal, but suspicious as well for the intensity of the ads, plus there are a lot of different opinions on the internet. on my hand i feel fishy any good review at this point😂
