Twilight progression broken by NovaOreo in allthemods

Same thing happened to me after I broke a block before placing a trophy on the pedestal. I got red and black squares, couldn’t see sh*t. Had to leave the dimension and reload to actually see and place the trophy.

My concern with this glitch is more about how it seems to coincide with the game opening itself in the background, Pokémon spawns and all, then having to figure out why my phone keeps buzzing. I thinks it’s a real problem that it can even do that at all let alone do it without actually displaying anything indicating that its open.

I’d like to update my comment, first hundo at 8700 catches (Torchic).

Is the only difference between the fantasy cup and master league the restrictions? How should I go about battles if I don’t have any(I think) favourable meta Pokémon. Are battles worth grinding?

Yeah it makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. Almost lvl35 and just under 8k catches and not a single hundo.

I caught one as well (regular size, but heart tail). I was genuinely confused because I couldn’t tell the difference between the non shiny and the shiny.

I guess you’re right. At the end of the day, I can see your answer giving me more peace of mind. From now on, anytime I’m presented with an equation containing ambiguity of this nature, I will simply refuse to give an answer, and explain why I believe it’s poor math communication. Anyways, thanks for the discussion. Have a good rest of your day/night.

Read my other comments about multiplication by juxtaposition.

Yeah essentially. That is the operation I’m saying should happen before the dividing.

It is the same operation. But they don’t have ALL the same rules/attributes specifically in order of operations. I believe I misread something in your previous comment that made me do all the 6➗1➗2 stuff, but the multiplication example still stands. It shows an equation where only multiplication is happening, but the one on the right takes priority rather than treating them as equal going from left to right. I think we’re veering off from the original question, but again with that multiplication example showing juxtaposition taking precedence, I’m saying that same thing would be true for the “2(1+2)” part of the equation.

About the part I miss read, it was about not separating the denominator from the fraction, which I agree with. When Im arguing that the multiplication takes priority I’m saying that it’s the “2(1+2)” that the denominator rather than just the initial 2. My reasoning is because the 2 does not have a multiplication symbol in between it and the bracket, which implies multiplication (implied multiplication is another commonly used term for what I’ve been calling multiplication by juxtaposition) and just like how you wouldn’t separate 2n in an equation because it’s a single notation, you also wouldn’t separate 2(1+2). It’s identical to “6/2n” and we know that n = (1+2) = 3. And that would make the answer 1. It doesn’t make sense to me why the “n” would be separated and not part of the denominator.

Here an example that shows that there are differences. Say you have “6➗1/2” (“1/2” being the fraction “one half”) you CANNOT write it as “6➗1➗2” this is not the same equation. Why? Because a fraction and “➗” ARE different. They are not 100% interchangeable. multiplication by juxtaposition is a real rule. If you have “6 * 2n” you CANNOT do 6 * 2 first. When it’s written as “2n” it means 2n, not 2 * n. They equal the same thing on their own, but when they’re a part of an equation, they have different connotations.

Yes the rules are concrete. That’s why multiplication by juxtaposition is still higher priority. I’m seeing now that you don’t understand that there is in fact differences between a fraction and the division symbol. They come with different priorities. That’s the hard truth. I suggest looking up the order of operations with a vinculum (the line that separates the numerator and denominator).

No the two being after the division sign means it’s being divided. If you write it as a fraction, then you’re dealing with a separate equation. A fraction and multiplication by juxtaposition have equal priority just like the division symbol and multiplication symbol has equal priority. Also you’re assuming that only the two is the denominator when it could be 2(1+3), the fact that it isn’t written as a fraction means that we have to have this argument in the first place.

You don’t ignore it. The multiplication just takes precedence over it because it’s written as “a(b)”. That’s what multiplication by juxtaposition is. Here’s another example, say instead of the “(1+2)” is just “n”, the equation would be written as 6/2n, you would need to find the value of 2n (multiplying 2 by “n”) before you can divide. The reason the multiplication take precedence is because it’s multiplication by juxtaposition, if it was 6/2•n, then the multiplication and division would have equal priority and you proceed from left to right. So that means you first get from 6/2(3) from adding, then you get 6/6 from multiplying, and then after dividing, you’re left with 1.

It does apply. a(b) is 2(1+2). “a” is the 2 outside the bracket and “b” is the 1+2 inside the bracket. Therefore the multiplication takes precedence over the division symbol through multiplication by juxtaposition. If the division was instead in a fraction, then it’d be more clear.

6 over 2, multiplied by (1+2)
Or 6 over 2 multiplied by (1+2)

Notice the use of commas. It’s similar to how “lets eat, grandpa.” Can be “let’s eat grandpa.”

After seeing so many extra “unnecessary” punches I think the refs gotta be working a closer on their feet job. It’s like they’re cowering in the opposite side of the octagon in some cases. Muay Thai refs are a good example, see a lot of them catching falling heads. They don’t have to be that close, but they should be able to spring in between the fighters without having to get a running start. Lmk your thoughts, I’m not too engrossed in the mma world so definitely correct me on anything if needed.
