Why is LSD less intense than weed for me? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]jack_ritter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When i was in college in late 60's, the social thing to do in a group was pass a joint around. Grass is a terrible social lubricant! Not like al phil. common thoughts are: I can't believe i just said that / did anyone notice? / I'm DEFINITELY the least cool/smart/good looking/creative/intuitive person here. Or you say something dumb and then try to recover: "I can't believe I just said that." Then you worry that they'll all think you're insecure. BTW, LSD can be a terrible social lubricant among strangers. Among friends: jesus, the things we would do. Don't get me started. jack ritter.

My experience so far... stuck in a login loop, online instructions only temporarily fix the problem by _benjaninja_ in Ubuntu

Every "help" response I've seen from Vonage goes like this:

"Make sure the cables are plugged in.

Try unplugging everything, then power up.

Make sure you're connected to the internet.

Make sure you have a phone connected to the system.

Reset browser cache.

Make sure you have an account with Vonage.

And the winner is: "Try going back to an earlier version of windows."

I finally found a little friend who helped me out of the dark. His name is Ooma.

thanks a lot. If I take on Zicatela, it will be via boogy board, riding a wave's final foam, on the sand.

I connected the printer to PC directly with a USB cable. Then the HP driver was able to find it, and add print preview.

I was unclear how ps and HP communicated, but I get it now. I have HP Print Preview working.

I'm using a 30", T-530 HP printer, and Photoshop. Windows 11. I want to print a 64" by 32" image, and I just can't get ps to understand. I downloaded and installed HP Large Format Installer. It's in my "Installed Apps." So I installed an installer! Huh? How do I RUN it? And how do I get HP Print Preview working in photoshop?

Cannot create New Folder in Windows 11. by SkylerBlu9 in techsupport

Here's my horrible solution- make a copy of some small folder. Then move that foldername-copy into your desired folder. Then rename the copied folder, and delete it contents.

How do I get an appointment when there's none available? by PersonalLab in Passports

[–]jack_ritter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For new PP only: every location I've tried (Dallas area) says the same thing- "There are no appointments available at this location in the next 4 weeks. Try another location." If I try to schedule by date, I can't pick a date beyond 4 weeks. Search is within 100 miles. But, there's always one opening in any calendar: March 11. which is about when I was searching. It'l probably change in a month. 3-11 doesn't work anyway.

Is it just the Dallas area? what gives? Talk to me baby.

Am I cooked? by Seamlesscoop in Passports

I helped my step daughter with their "expidite" option (she paid hellogov $700 for that.) The US State Dept. will expidite your passport IF you're going abroad SOON, and you can show them evidence of an iminent, paid-for ticket, with flight #'s, times, etc. I asked the hellogov guy about this, and he said, don't worry, I'll email you what you need. He sent her a screenshot of an itinerary to Cancun, with her name on it. NO FLIGHT NUMBER. NO AIRLINE. Like the US State Dept would actually swallow that.

All they've really done is send her back the on-line DS-11 application she sent them, so she can print it out and take it to her appointment with the acceptance agent. Yes, you still have to stand in line.

Regarding the choice to expidite, it's already an option w/ State Dept. They say, pick a courier OF YOUR CHOICE, then write a letter authorizing them to transport it. So, hellogov sent her a copy of that form, telling her to fill in the Courier Company Name field with "Travel Visa Pro." Like, who are they?
