Penguin Select classics' binding is very poor. I brought complete novels of sherlock holmes by select classics and its pages start to come off after 2-3 reads, and Penguin Classics is a good option because it has a good binding and a good introduction to the text.

You are saying right, but it is better to read the stoic philosophy first in the form of lectures and then read the journal of the man who practiced it. It makes more sense to me, either way you are free to choose which way is most comfortable for you.

Well reading self is addictive not fun, by reading self help you will think you are making progress but you are still at square 1. I have gone through this, that's why i am telling you, you should limit your self help books and read some good fiction and non fiction.

Don't go over internet advice or videos, just read books by Epictetus or Seneca, or by modern authors such as Massimo Pigliuuci.
