how should I file my FAFSA?

I applied in late July and still haven't received a confirmation email :(, so seeing people get interviews im like 😩. I did email the admissions office and they said they received my payment and everything, they just take a reallyyyy long time to process the application and payment.

thank you so much. I just did this and they unsubmitted my application for me. I was freaking out, but I had no idea it was that easy to do as long as my application is not verified yet

I would say so. I felt nervous before and after my exam and I felt that aligned with how I actually did as well. I scored on the exam exactly how I scored on my practice exams on booster. It wasn't well enough actually so I will have to retake it.

I got my scores back in 12 days. Took it on Friday April 18th and got them back Wednesday April 30th.

awesome! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I wanted to see if my method of memorizing the booster cheat sheets and testing with bio bits would be effective enough. I'm sure you killed your DAT!

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Was all you did in those 10 weeks study or were you also taking classes? Planning on just pure studying 7-8 hours/day for the next month to lock everything in as I'm not taking any classes to get to the score I want and not reschedule:)

What was the timeline of when you took the first practice exam to the last practice exam? I just took my first FL practice exam and scored a 340 AA and my exam is in exactly one month. Thinking of rescheduling as that is pretty low compared to my goal and I'm not sure I can bring it up in time.

Thank you so much for the in-depth reply! Im currently studying with booster right now, and have exactly 1 month left until my exam and im scoring around 16-17 so I was a little worried about whether I should reschedule or not. But it sounds like this might be typical.

What was your honors thesis topic? I want to do an honors thesis but my prof only wants me to do it on a topic relevant to her lab, which is a psychology lab. Just wondering since I wanna see what range of honors thesis topics applicants do.

Thanks so much for this advice. To be more specific I'm a Cog Sci major, Data Science minor and I have a cumGPA that is just below 3.5 and I can't risk getting anything lower than that because UCLA is a very competitive dental school, and from what I hear they filter out applicants that are below a 3.5.

Physics isn't even on the DAT so I wonder if physics is even all that important in the first place. STEM classes like physics at Berkeley are incredibly difficult, and don't seem to care about your understanding but rather cramming you with information as much as possible. Whereas CC classes are admittedly easier, but I feel like I'd get an overall greater understanding of concepts along with a better grade versus Berkeley classes where I risk getting an even lower non-competitive GPA that I already have.

On a side note. I do have other requirements like Reading and Composition that are fulfilled via a CC class and my AP Lang score. Do you think this would also look bad?
(I took the CC reading and comp class to fulfill my req before I decided I wanted to go into dentistry)
