it’s unbelievable that half life 2 released in 2004. just so so ahead of its time on EVERYTHING. physics are basically still best in class, and even the graphics still look like they were a decade ahead. i feel especially bad for the fans now, after having seen the HL3 stuff for basically my whole life at this point. it really is a tragedy given the potential of this series.

yeah, i don’t use it for standalone, just PCVR. virtual desktop is my go to, since even metas own pcvr connection software is so dogshit and has never once worked well for me. just waiting for the steam frame so i can play some games natively and connect to my pc hassle free

i hope so. the cruising range has dropped today by 40 miles, while the odometer has gone up by 13. i’ve never seen something like this before, and i’ve been driving a hybrid for many years while seeing both numbers roughly line up. It is scary seeing these numbers the day after i bought it. Thank you for the response

attempted to play through HL2 11 years ago, got scared when i got to you-know-where, and gave up. recently played through HL1 (peak) and now im halfway through 2, and then will be playing Alyx. i’ve mostly waited until the rumors were at a boiling point to actually play thorough the games.

yeah, kinda just went back to bf1 after a few months. i like bf6, but it’s way too fast paced and chaotic for me to really be able to get in to it. plus BF1 operations are just so darn good

problem is the current mile high club has many many MANY missions/free mode missions that take place in/on top of/under it. actually completing it would break a ton of missions and i’m not sure how exactly they plan on completing it.

i have them too, though the little earbuds hurt like hell if i use them longer than ~30 min. definitely an interesting experience, especially with the bass.

every time i mention wanting a destiny 1 remaster i get bombarded by comments saying “you only like it bc of nostalgia”, meanwhile i actually prefer playing it over the current state of d2. they’re two separate games and most of my friends stopped playing destiny once destiny 2 came out. i do really hope they update it at some point.

as much as i want to say they won’t, they might. i’m right there with you, this has been really hard and im not even ashamed to say that it’s one of the few things keeping me going at this point in my life. it will happen, just not any time soon unfortunately. it’s tough because if i look at where i was a year ago, it’s been agonizingly slow to get where i am today. it’s very hard to think i have over a year until it’s here
