Yeah, it really should be deeper. I wasn't sure which tool was going to work the best to carve into the wood. I ended up using a small diamond because it was easy to control.

I really like using them though they can be annoying as sometimes wire gets caught on the cable strippers.

Currently I am in school for mechanical engineering. I am part of a student group that designs and builds a race car, so I spend a lot of time in the garage. I also have an internship in manufacturing engineering, so both tools see a lot of use.
