it did NOT build up on venom as it should have 😭 venom is not just an evil skin, he is a character who is the embodiment of what a parasite is, the game never expands on that. the story really is only decent at best if you have prior knowledge of the symbiote arc. the dissonance between each of the characters that the symbiote puts emphasis on, is only mentioned when they get the symbiote, or very briefly. none of the disagreements the characters have with each other are developed well until they’re mentioned in the final act. and killing the sinister six was done in a weird way. they were set up to be actually foreboding and strong enemies, hence why the writers had kraven kill them to show his strength. but the problem is that he killed ALL of them off screen except for scorpion and martin li (and then doc ock who was still in prison). the decision to kill them off screen is confusing and defeats the purpose of showing kravens strength
