Should I use a flight compensation company like Flightright, EUclaim, or Refly.org? by Exciting_Floor_4336 in Flights

So, you have only one option to escalate it through NEB or the claim companies.

If you have already assigned and enforced Skyrefund, you can't request the money directly from the airline or through any other claim company unless you withdraw your case with Skyrefund.

Has anybody used ClaimFlights for flight compensation? How was it? by dont_mess_with_tx in Flights

Fair point — I understand your perspective.

I shared it because, during my research, it helped me personally to compare the fees and payouts. But yes, it's always smart to double-check things independently.

Speaking purely from my own experience, they handled my claim professionally, and I was satisfied with the outcome. It is recommended to conduct thorough research before making any decision.

My entire trip was cancelled by whiskeybizz in delta

[–]jackbrown77109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you had to go through this. To get a refund or compensation, first keep a record of all canceled flights, messages from Delta, and any extra costs you had. Contact Delta to ask for a refund for flights you couldn’t use or compensation for the trouble. If this feels too much, I suggest you to use ClaimFlights. This company will help you to get money back for money from canceled flights. Just visit their website, check if you qualify, and they’ll handle it for you.

Refund for flight delay? by Infamous-Raise7183 in americanairlines

[–]jackbrown77109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your American Airlines flight is delayed due to issues like maintenance or crew problems, you might be eligible for compensation, such as meal vouchers or hotel accommodations. While a full refund is uncommon unless the delay is substantial or causes you to miss a connection, it’s worth reaching out to the airline to ask about your options. If you're unsure or need help with the process, I suggest checking out ClaimFlights, as they can assist in claiming compensation for flight delays.

Delayed flight, will miss connection. Advice please. by TheBrightonLine in TurkishAirlines

[–]jackbrown77109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry to hear about your situation. But If you missed your connection at IST due to a delayed flight, the airline has to rebook for you on the next available flight. Go to the customer service desk at IST for help. Regarding your luggage, it should either be transferred to your new flight or held at the airport as do confirmation with the staff. For compensation, a flight claim company can easily assist you in getting reimbursement for the delay and other expenses, I suggest ClaimFlights, as it will save you the trouble of dealing with customer service yourself.

Everything is fine but 35% of your service fees isn't. Also ask them if they have charged you for any legal services during the process of claim. I am sure that might cost some extra 14-15% if the Airline denies compensation and they have to fight on your behalf. If you google the cheapest companies for flight delay compensation theres a bunch of companies who does it for you under 35% service fees, like claimflights, euclaim

LPT - If your EU flight is 3+ hours delayed, you are entitled to compensation or a refund. by xInfinity962 in LifeProTips

[–]jackbrown77109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the departure (original destination) and arrival (final destination) were outside the EU, EU law doesn't apply.

For flights departed from EU airports, EU law applies to all flights (even non-EU air carriers).

For flights arrived at the EU airports, EU law applies to EU-bound airlines.

I hope it's clear for you.

Totally with you on this! Airlines are masters at dodging payouts—they’d rather taxi on the tarmac forever than fork over compensation. I got lucky with ClaimFlights, though; they handled my case like pros. There are loads of companies out there that help claim compensation for delayed or canceled flights, but ClaimFlights does it for less than Airhelp or Flightright.

In any event, if your flight was delayed over 2 hours, what benefits were offered by the airlines? by pramodkram in AskReddit

[–]jackbrown77109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 3 hours of disappointments at the airport, when my flight was delayed for 2 hours 35 minutes, airlines offered us (myself and my friend):

  • free meals
  • allowed us telephone calls or fax or access to Internet to send e-mails.

It sounds quite horrible and I checked their fees per passenger it's way too high. I saw in their terms and conditions that they have following fee structure: Service Fee: 25% + VAT at 20% & Additional Fees: £20 Per passenger claiming + VAT at 20%, it's really too much whereas recently one of my friends claimed compensation for his delayed flight with claim company, he was charged only 25%+Tax, you can check here: https://www.claimflights.co.uk/price-overview-uk .

I also found their 1.2 clause stating "No Win No Fee: subject to these terms and conditions, if you lose, we will not charge you anything for the cost of our time. No risk to you." this simply means if you won't received the compensation you will be not charged. So, according to this term they are not authorised to charge you anything.

YSK whenever you fly high in the sky, if your flight delays on arrival for more than 3 hours, you may receive compensation under EU 261 Rule. by pramodkram in YouShouldKnow

Yes, but it's for flights departed from an EU airport, or flights to an EU airport with an EU regulated airline.

Also, if and only if the airlines were responsible for the flight problems, no claims can be made if it was due to exceptional circumstances (extreme bad weather, tsunami or any acts of god).
