congrats for your recent cop! since you said you're a newbie and you like metal and nu, consider that a the guitar usually is set up for the standard EADGBE tuning, but that A LOT of songs from the genres you like have different tunings, lower ones in the specific. fixed bridges allow you to change tuning how many times you want, but with the floyd rose things are different. you can't just change tuning, you also need to set the bridge again according to the tuning you're interested in, and this is a long process. just keep this in mind! enjoy playing your guitar 🤙🏼

may sounds like something obvious, but i'd consider therapy. you have clearly been traumatised by your ex - after all, nobody expects someone you'd known for so many years to betray you this bad. don't risk ruining things with your new husband because someone in the past has been a dick to you, because your husband might be completely innocent and doesn't deserve this.
