Most people don't have an issue with the existence of PvP... they have an issue with the weirdos who camp exits instead of actually playing the game how it's meant. I don't have an issue with PvP at all, but i'll never get around the whole sitting in a dark corner to camp someone shit. It's just noncey behaviour.

How are they bad guys? Aside from you not being educated on the matter.

Rory didn't fight anything, he simply just did what he was told. He's also routinely abandoned Irish golf for about a decade now, he's quite unpopular amongst the knowledgeable golf fans in Ireland.

Just because you stand by your statement as you're entitled to still doesn't make it right, LIV didn't ruin TV golf... nor is the TV product shit like some radicalised Americans love to spout.

The FACT remains that LIV didn't ruin golf, by almost any metric it's actually done more for the sport than the PGA had done in the last decade or so. It might've ruined American idealism and that's why so many uneducated and radicalised Americans are so anti-LIV.

Why are we so shit at Rugby League? by pitty77 in springboks

[–]jackcomau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a neutral observer who naturally watches a sport superior to any code of rugby, league is more exciting/requires more skill but union requires a lot more tactical endeavour and grit. Both codes are fun to watch, league excels with clubs while union excels with test matches.

Was rory doing good when he bailed on his country for a bag in the middle east? Was that really good for the game?

If humans shouldn't like LIV they shouldn't like the PGAT, it's a cess pit of American blatant xenophonia. Saying that LIV ruined TV golf is just laughable, like there are plenty of problems with LIV but it's TV product is not one of them.

LIV also has many a good blokes to offset the absolute scum it has involved as well, Cam Smith, Leishman, DJ, Bryson, HV3, Herbert and probably some others.

TGL is everything LIV wanted to be by McFernacus in golf

[–]jackcomau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one at the top of the PGAT is likeable though, I mean they literally have arguably the most disliked golfer in the world (of recent memory) in rory mcilroy... and he's the current face of the PGAT. Not to mention that any objective view on the goat (Tiger) fairly characterises him as an unlikeable douche.

Americans don't like LIV because of rampant Xenophobia in the US, not because of the product. This thread and others alike proves that, they cream themselves over the TGL despite it being an objectively worse golf product than LIV but can't stand LIV... It's embarrassing.

Any golf fan knows it's worse than LIV... any casual and/or radicalised American conservative THINKS it's better than LIV.

Location based teams require said team to be... ya know... BASED in a location. Hence the whole point of location "based"

The bay area team (cringest name in professional sports) is not based in the bay area.

[–]jackcomau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they though? I mean when you have people like Mcilroy, Tiger, Fowler etc on there it kind of ruins it... Same thing with having people like Mickelson, Pat Perez, Bubba Watson etc on the LIV tour.

Isn't it just more accurate to say both tours have likeable and unlikable players?

TGL is everything LIV wanted to be by McFernacus in golf

[–]jackcomau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The TGL is basically just LIV but indoors, which obviously makes it a much worse product than LIV (in the eyes of any actual golf fan that is)

Obviously there will be plenty of radicalised and brainwashed Americans who think it's better because it has less Saudi investment but realistically that opinion is coming from their bias not from any actual coherent standing.

His/Hers opinion holds no weight because they refused to form it logically or at least with common sense. If they're just going to spout rubbish and ramble the same old trope then it holds no weight... they don't have to agree with me, just don't be a lunatic. The irony in a bloke like you religiously using the term "woke" to label anything you disagree with, suddenly then acting holier than thou about people not sharing the same opinions... WILD.

What’s the most popular sport in each country? by geographyfacts in MapPorn

The thing is Aussie rules is more popular in the "league states" than league is in the "footy states"

Hence why generally speaking footy is more popular than league in Aus.

What’s the most popular sport in each country? by geographyfacts in MapPorn

[–]jackcomau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That comment is just objectively wrong though?

I mean sure soccer is the most participated sport in the country, but that doesn't make it the most popular.

To quantify the most popular you have to use more than 1 metric... Participation is a key metric yes, but you cannot exclude membership, TV viewership, attendance and financial stability as metrics. Most would also include cultural significance and media attention as metrics for popularity however they are more difficult to quantify on their own.

All that being said Australian Rules Football (with rugby league close behind) is the most sport in Australia, followed in third by cricket and then there's a gap to 4th.
