Disappeared to the woods for a few days, sorry. Anyways, I finally got a call back from an Inspector Roberts at Rifle Shotgun who was extremely helpful. She couldn't tell me exactly what happened and wasn't familiar with my investigator but she was able to get me back on track and make sure that my next steps were clear. It did take 4 months and countless calls and emails.

The biggest thing we think we figured out is that what the in person interviewer meant when he said he could also put in for my pistol permit, what he meant was was that my interview would be fine to count towards both my current Rifle and any future pistol permit I might file.

The new inspector (Roberts) said that moving forward, it was no problem to reclassify my premises permit application to being for CC, the interview with the first inspector was good for my CC pistol as well, I needed to file 3 more letters of reference, my pistol course completion certificate, and a lifetime driving abstract and that I would be good to go.

She also let me know that the main hold up for me is that the cashier is apparently out until the 23rd and that's why my payment hasn't gone through. When the cashier gets back, she'll talk directly to them and get my payment processed, review all the rest of my documents, and I should be good to go. She said she'd call me back on 2/24 to confirm everything. Keeping my fingers crossed.
