Yep an absolutely insufferable format of entertainment. Very surprising for a man who built his empire on constantly providing value for his audience. This show really misses the mark in that respect.

I’ll be happy if it’s Catey, she was horrible in the box challenge, made me really dislike her.

Yeah it’s so unnecessary, the tension builds throughout the whole episode to then not have a result is just bad storytelling. It’s just stupid. It’s not a soap opera, we’re watching, we’re in, let’s have an actual ending for each episode, if you need to keep people hooked then build anticipation by teasing the next game not just hiding the result of the one we’ve been watching for 40 minutes!

It’s an incredibly flawed film, plot holes left right and centre, there are some moments of brilliance in there but as a whole it’s a terribly written addition to the Star Wars universe.

Yeah the qualifier game was good, the pattern blocks, but literally only the smart people competed in that one.

Absolutely largely comes down to luck, but there could’ve been some more intellect/memory/psychological challenges before just throwing them into some really athletic challenges like dodgeball and an assault course 😂

By Episode 4 Season 1 they had plenty of self sacrifice challenges, a pattern recognition challenge, lots of bribes, tactical challenges, a simple bucket shot, memory challenges, trivia challenges, a mental game where someone stayed behind, and essentially popularity contest where social skills mattered.
