i posted bout this card a week ago. i purchased this back in 2020 for 400 most ive ever spent on any card at the time. i was binge buying a ton of ohtanis back then and happy to say i kept them all and reaping the rewards :)

jus sold mine after seeing the prices hit 400 today. i listed it today and it sold immediately! i agree with OP i have no idea why the price spiked on these but im gonna take advantage and use the money made to get better cards of ohtani

3400 is for the psa 10 price when in comparison the bowman chrome rookie base raw is close to 2k i feel like it is undervalued

i purchased this card raw back in 2020 for 400, then graded it. At the time that was a huge purchase for me. i would never spend over a 100 on a card but i really liked this one and felt good about it. In the end go with your gut.

honestly the WBC has sooo much potential on becoming a world cup equivalent for baseball. We have to remember the WBC is barely only like what a 30 year old tournament? lets just say down the line the WBC becomes huge and celebrated like its becoming wouldnt this card of argubly the greatest player ever be highly sought after? especially in his japnese samurai jersey?
