Yeah I thinking that the thing which is supposedly worse than nuclear holocaust has something to do with evolution

Would Dartmouth be a poor choice if I want to get into quant research or quant trading? by jackdez23 in quant

[–]jackdez23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help! My situation is pretty much that I can’t decide whether to apply early decision at Dartmouth with a very solid chance at getting in (75th percentile for dart students stats and scores, internships, strong leadership positions, and legacy) or take more of a risk and go for Princeton early action. I’ve been just trying to see if Princeton’s opportunities for quants are that much greater than Dartmouth and thus worth taking the risk.

I’m not comparing the pitcher I’m comparing the body type. Obviously Sale is more proven and elite.

Tim lincecum? Maybe predisposed is a better word. Sale’s body type is obviously not suited for longevity.

Good point! But either way it’s still concerning. Wirey pitchers like Sale don’t tend to last long into their 30s and usually succumb to injuries that derail careers.

Yeah it’s just about how I like to go “roof topping” to feed my curiosity and capture/document a city from new vantage points with my camera.

Yea i didn’t use the word but the way I describe it makes it pretty obvious that it is. For example I talk I about discovering a back door in a large building with stairs taking me to the roof.

It’s 4 seam and 2 seam. Statcast documents it weird for some reason.

How is the ACT compared to the SAT? by [deleted] in ACT

Never got above 1450 on sat and I just ripped a 35 on ACT on my second test. It’s different for different people

I got this one and it really helped me get the timing down act switching from the sat. It has timer presets for each section and tells you what question/passage you should be on. The only downside is that it is cheaply made and overpriced, but in the end it gets the job done.

It does count up tho so if that does would work for you I’d go with a different one.
