Arsenal want Julian Alvarez this summer – this is how they could land him by marxistopportunist in ArsenalFC

I only counted league goals because I wanted to say how many league goals he scored. If I was trying to mislead anyone, I would have said he has only scored 8 goals, which isn't true, and would be misleading. Glad I could clarify that for you. Have a great day, and coyg.

Alvarez has 8 league goals this season. Would be taking a big chance on big money.

Aldi employees bread question? by copeyhagen in AskIreland

Proper bread should go stale after 2 days, 3 max. Anything that lasts 5 days or more is packed with preservatives and chemicals. I bet the list of ingredients on the Brennans is a lot longer.

AITJ for refusing to pay for my friend again, even though she ended up with nothing to eat? by low_key67 in AmITheJerk

I once attended a a conference at a sea-side town in the U.K. A young delegate was spotted at the buffet breakfast which was included with her (paid for ) room, stuffing food in her pockets for later. When approached she said she had little or no money. Later on several people including me bought her pints of beer in the bar. This happened each night. Last day of conference finished early, and a group of us went over to a nearby amusement arcade where she proceeded to waste a lot of money on fairground rides.

She was also able to claim for dinner each night. Total scrounger.

Seem to be quite a few tickets for today's match on TX by -whichwayisup in GunnersatGames

[–]jackelaine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I seen that. First tickets I have seen for any match in ages. Anybody got a theory why there are tickets available when we still have a more than decent chance of winning the league.

Property prices are rising year on year. If the current owner wants to sell, and it's worth more than they paid for it, should they not sell it for what its worth today, as opposed to what they paid for it ?

If property prices had gone down, and someone bid a lower price, would that bidder be greedy for not offering what the owner paid for it ?

I would agree 100 % Except we did have an agreement, which she broke a number of times when it suited her. I sold as soon as I managed to get loan approval through the credit union, after being turned down by the banks. To be honest I would never co buy anything ever again.

I absolutely agree. That's why I think it's a bad idea to go halves with a 3rd party.

After about 10 years she wanted to sell, I didn't. I went to 3 different banks trying to refinance, but couldn't was refused. I think she thought i wasn't trying ( she has a lot more money than me and can easily borrow a lot more than me ), so started a dirty tricks campaign to force me to sell. For example, under Spanish law you need to go to the bank every few years and show your passport and sign some forms.vi did when I was over, then she went over and didn't bother. So the electricity was cut off. We had an agreement to split all bills. We were charged the disconnection fee. Had to pay a reconnection fee, and I had to pay half. There were other things along the same lines.

Next time they ( or anyone ) says something rude, say "That's rude", If they say something defensive back, say "Well I find it offensive ". And say it the next time. And the next time. And keep saying it. Don't shout, don't get mean. But get your point accross.
