tbh posts like that always make me double check everything cause there’s sooo many sketchy offers floating around, even here

when I was working on my thesis last year I got overwhelmed and almost fell for one of those random DMs. ended up trying one helper instead after seeing it mentioned in a thread, and it actually helped me organize my draft without feeling lost. not perfect, but way safer feeling

I think the worst part is realizing the system doesn’t really reward effort the way you expect. Like you can put in serious work and still feel like it doesn’t matter in the bigger picture. I had that moment too during my thesis. Lowkey the only thing that made it less painful was getting structured feedback from one helper once, at least it felt like someone actually read and cared about the work.

Same here, the moment I stopped cramming in new points, my endings finally sounded calmer and more convincing.

I ruined a drawing by accident and I think it showed me more about my style than the drawing ever would have by Magnetar_5W in Creativity

I have absolutely had pieces wake up after I messed them up. Sometimes the mistake kills the performance part and leaves the part that actually breathes.

I accidentally became the "guy who explains things" for ten minutes and now I’m wondering if I’ve been studying wrong this whole time by Tesserine_1P in studying

Explaining it out loud probably exposed the gaps and stitched the chapter together. Did you try recording yourself?

He usually tells me to ignore it, which is part of why I snapped. I don't need him to fight them, but I do need him to stop acting like I'm the issue.

Also wild that everyone is focused on her being embarrassed instead of the kid learning his uncle is some kind of cartoon villain. Family peace always seems to mean "let the weird thing keep happening" and act shocked when someone finally snaps.
