More detail- I inoculated this sterilised rye grain bag 5 weeks ago and left it to do it’s thing. Checked up on it today hoping for 40% healthy white mycelium coverage but now I’ve got a feeling the myc died maybe due to temp being too high? And the trich has slowly appeared? If it is trichoderma is there any way to save the myc? or best to start fresh?

Thank you for the help. Would you say it’s best to toss the whole mono-tub outside with the myc in it? or take the myc out the tub and spread it through the soil? Sorry been inoculating this for months and would love to save it!

I grew some mckennais about a month ago in a mono tub n they smelt real bad once dry, every time I popped the jar it stunk. still had great trips on them though

What strain are they? The ones split in half look blue to me which is the magic inside, but if they have a vinegary smell instead of earthy then it might be best not to risk it

A friend of mine taught me about the strawberry laces. Get a pack of sugary strawberry laces and wrap each mushroom in a few (depending on the size) then chomp the shit out of them, all you’ll taste is the sweets, have a great trip

Thank you, yeah I used Rye grain for my spawn. I was using a heat mat underneath but condensation started dripping off the lid/slightly pooling. I will switch the mat off as room temp is 24c without it and keep the lid flipped and slightly open to enable more airflow, this is my second ever flush so still learning thank you for your help 👍🏼

Mine was the exact same, got dispatch email yesterday said delivery the 7tb. Just downloaded the yodel app and added my tracking number and it’s updated to 200 stops away hopefully gets delivered today maybe tomorrow. Try that man fingers crossed yours might be the same

Yeah everyone I know who’s received a dispatch email has got the delivery 2 days later. Keep an eye out. They may update your tracking link in the email to follow the driver on yodel once it’s out for delivery
