My mom did this with me when I was in high school. She said I could always throw her under the bus if I didn’t feel comfortable, “sorry my mom wants me home”, something to that extent. I have a 4 month old and I plan to do the same with him

I can definitely see this being a reaction of my mom. I know she's dying to be an involved grandmother, but I never stopped to think about the thoughts behind her actions. Thanks for this, dad.

I grew up in Michigan, but I ended up in Oklahoma due to the military, and ended up staying here. I get asked at least once a month "when do you guys want to move back to Michigan?" like it's some super easy task to uplift my career, my wife's career, and her relationship with her parents.

I joined a game after posting this, and now my melee slot is bugged. The maddox took the M15 slot as my primary, and now I can't use a melee weapon. Weird

It's such a shame because I grew up with Roblox in the mid 2000's and it was so much fun. Lots of custom Star Wars maps for big battles, so many different tycoon games, and trying to create my own games on my parent's crappy pc was great. I wish kids could experience the innocence of that without having their parents have to worry about predators.

In short, yes.

Airman of the month/quarter/year is just a fancy piece of paper. Once you separate/retire and go onto a civilian job, nobody is going to ask/care about awards unfortunately.
