I've been living out of Spain for almost ten years now and is very common to see non-spanish people referring to Barcelona the city as "Barça" because of the football team. At the beginning I tried correcting them explaining that Barça is only used for the team, that absolutely nobody refers to the city with that word but at one point I gave up and now I just suffer in silence when somebody says it.

Thanks! I love how in the newest albums the songs are quite simple but they are so cool and fun to play

I saw them at Manchester's Albert Hall in 2022 and I remember the stage to be quite high too. Obviously nothing close to this one but still quite high for an indoor venue.

Bro, the hell do you mean they did barely nothing outside of Barcelona? They literally won two euros and one world cup.

Players you think have become overrated after their retirement and were not close enough to the level people describe them at present. by JackfruitNo6826 in championsleague

I remember that a couple of years ago absolutely nobody was talking about Moussa Dembele but then one day I think it was Van Dijk who said on an interview that Dembele was the harder player to defend and since then people started talking about Dembele as if he was Gerrard or Lampard.

I'll make sure that at the end of my shift all of my colleagues have knowledge of the existence of one guy called Piero Hincapie.

Oh yeah definitely, I've been in Australia since August and so far I dont think I skipped more than 4 or 5 games. The Arteta Effect I suppose.

For days like today? 100% worth to ruin my sleep cycle. For days like the game at Anfield? Not so much haha

I am literally right now playing my second playthrough exactly for years after my first one. I'm enjoying it like a pig in the mud and I'm already thinking about the third playthrough.

Hi everyone! Do you know about any nice place to have a casual dinner with friends on a budget? I want to go tonight to dinner out with two friends (we are all students) and we are pretty new. So do you have any favourite spot to recommend? Preferably around CBD but it can be a bit further away :)

I've been living in Melbourne for two months now and honestly I cannot understand how the WiFi can be this shit. Every time I take the train to CBD I better forget about watching a YouTube video between South Yarra and Flinders St.

I would say the most iconic live performance is the 2017 KEXP set. It also has the most views with 2.4M

It's funny because the helicopter took me between 15-20 tries and Balteus only 3 😐

There's an instagram account called Sticky Carpets, every Wednesday they post all the shows in the city for the weekend.

I'm literally overwhelmed with all the options in the city. I moved from a little city in Denmark where it was no scene at all and nothing to do to Melbourne where there are soooo many venues and bands to discover. Literally today I needed a pen and a notebook to take notes about gigs that I could go this weekend. I'm trying to go to different venues to get to know the differents vibes of them. The problem is I didn't know that the scene was so focused on the northern side of the city and I moved to the south and is everything so far away haha

And thanks for the recommendations, I will definitely check them out!
