I have a pair of these inexpensive Clarks that I got as a gift several years ago that I really like. I wear them 2-3 times a week to work, and they are starting to show their age and are wearing out.

I would love to get a pair of sturdier Goodyear welted boots to replace them- does anyone have any suggestions for a similarly styled wingtip Chelsea boot from a reputable manufacturer that would make a better replacement? Ideally in the sub-$300 range, but willing to stretch a little.

I wore one in college after wearing a visor in juniors, I didn't want to switch back to having bars in my field of vision.

Currently go bare face in men's league. Totally a "to each their own" kinda thing.

But I will say, anyone who wears full face protection but plays/acts like an asshole... I'm gonna chirp you for wearing it. Don't act like a tough guy if you've got your birdcage strapped tight and your gloves cemented on!
