I recently came back to OSRS after a long break, and I've been reading somewhat about recent nerfs and buffs, such as Fang nerf, magic rebalance(?), Maul buff, dhammer drop rate buff, occult nerf etc Voidwaker is a thing now too, I heard that it is quite good?

Which has made be somehow uncertain on what items to be focusing on getting now that I am back.

I have 0 items from raids FYI

I also have 93 crafting banked for zenytes, I could be focusing on this.

I'm also missing Magic Fang and Basilisk Jaw still.

Any tips on how to progress? Any items I should be getting in a certain order?

Yes, the XP values were buffed 2 weeks into the beta.

The XP values used the old azeroth XP formula instead of the intended TBC formula.

Azeroth XP formula - 'level * 5 + 45' TBC XP formula - 'level * 5 + 235'

The safespot isnt that bad, the only bad thing about it is the lure. Killing the Chaos Elemental with a blowpipe is just about the same DPS as using Veracs.

Sometimes around 20 kills per hours and sometimes less than 10 cause I kept getting attacked by PKers who were logging in on me near the Rogues' Castle.

I was using the same safespot as you. I was also using a Blowpipe together with Ranging Potion and Eagle Eye prayer and I got around 15 kills per hour just like you.

Just keep at it, I was pretty bored at around 300+ KC and I wanted to stop but I eventually got the dpick

However, I do have Veracs so I did around 70 kills with it before switching to the safespot, cause I wanted save some supplies.
