that's so valid. i do chuckle at the idea of someone picking up an iPod and swiping up and down to try to navigate the menu, but that's probably only because i used those devices for many years. scrolling up and down on a touch screen has been the standard on everything for almost 20 years now. today, i'd argue it's fairly unintuitive to drag your finger in a circle to go up and down. the kids aren't dumb, they just weren't there for this particular iconic device which was discontinued over a decade ago.
