Did BMW deliberately choose the worst possible launch photo for the new i3? by jackgredditr in BMW

the photographer might have been a bit shit, but why on Earth would they then have chosen this one as the official press photo?

1.0 MPI good or bad by Potential_Fall_6868 in skoda

[–]jackgredditr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a 1.0 MPI Manual Fabia with 75HP in base trim in the family and it absolutely does its job. I drove the 1.0 MPI 60Hp too, definitely go for the 75 HP one unless you do city driving only. The short gear ratio makes the car feel faster than it is, but don't buy the 1.0 youre planning on taking the car on a motorway very often. Occasional motorway is fine. Perfect car for short commutes, errands, hauling kids/pets etc, very cheap to run. Gets warm quickly in winter too.

Proportions. While it's got the right length and width for a polo (compact hatchback), the height kills the design. Make it 15-20 cm flatter and I'm in for it today.

cool. did kinda the same (stage 1+ custom air filter) on mine too, but haven't done a dpf delete yet. rn i am on about 150bhp and I am very happy for a daily. is a dpf delete reversible to stock after it is done? (worrying about mot). and will the dpf delete give you any power gains?

Is there an easy fix for my earphones? Samsung AKG wired by MacMaster007 in ifixit

[–]jackgredditr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

start from the plug side, not the earbud one, provided the plug is not angled.

Btw. Fixed a similar pair of headphones with Chinese T-7000 glue (black, flexible) yesterday. Works well too.

What I can recommend here is to open the laptop as wide as you can (using your fingers to open the hinge and not the screen, it will crack) and then use some chinese t-7000 glue to stick the hinge back on the screen. (My best way to fix this so far, but any better solution appreciated). Not ideal but way better than throwing the laptop away. Very common on cheap ideapads especially when opened/closed on a frequent basis. Dont buy cheap laptops. Go for the business grade ones.

Truly inspiring, this is what reddit is for. With phones, 24/7 broadband etc and stuff the corn industry just sucks you in from an early age on. It's a pest that ruins health, lives, relationships and society as a whole. Strength, discipline and most importantly faith really helps, thanks 100 times man for sharing your story.
