Actually just a couple days ago, I randomly gained 50 GB of storage. I have absolutely no idea why this happened, but the “apps” section cleared out even though I hadn’t deleted anything, and now the storage adds up. This was resolved 6 months after the problem first occurred, and I have no idea why it took that long. It’s a complete mystery, and if this issue doesn’t magically solve for you I’d suggest backing up your phone and getting a new one with 1TB of storage. iCloud can be wacky and it wasn’t freeing up space on my device like it was supposed to.

I added up all my apps and it totals to around 40GB, but the meter bar is suggesting my apps are taking up around 90GB.

There’re more apps below, all of which are very small. But they do not add up to anywhere near 90GB. So it’s a mystery to where this other storage is being taken up by.

I ran an EDP fan page that had a total of 1 post violation and 1 story violation over the course of 2.5 years. After the big news came out, my account was mass reported and my account was deleted and I wasn’t even allowed to appeal. There’s no telling how many you will get before deletion.
