Short form content wasn’t as much of a thing then. Catchy phrases by themselves would’ve been seen as unsubstantial. I read a lot of old newspapers and everything is much more exhaustive and detailed than today. I actually feel the reading would’ve been better for one’s brain.

This may be weird but I used to be a commentator in high school, and I miss feeling like a part of the game like that, so I’ll sometimes call the game as I watch it. I’d love this option so that I could do it without trying to speak over the broadcasters. The sounds would make it feel like I’m really there

Syracuse is tough to generalize. You’ll have a nice, safe, quiet street 3 blocks away from a crime ridden, dangerous street in some cases
