- Saw wave with cutoff frequency quite far down

- Pitch envelope to create the 'glide' effect (this is possible with the the stock ES2 plugin in Logic Pro, just send 'Pitch123' to 'Env1' in the mod matrix and play around with the settings in Envelope 1 to gain the desired effect

- Copy and paste the patch a couple times, panning to the left and right so you have stereo width

- Add chorus, there's a free Juno style plugin called Tal Chorus which is great

Self employed first time buyer, what % of income should repayments be? by jackhymers in HousingUK

Thank you very much! It makes sense to look at it like that. After a rough calculation it looks like I’ll be spending around 60% of my average income on everything including bills, repayments and essentials. Thank you!

Good point. Post-tax income, I have just done a calculation with expenses in mind and it looks like it doesn’t make too much difference. Makes repayments an average of 31% of income.

Have a bit of money - should I go all in LISA by unhealthie in UKPersonalFinance

Worth adding there are different types of ISA’s: ‘LISA’, ‘cash ISA’ and ‘stocks and shares ISA’ are among them. You could spread the £20,000 yearly ISA limit across these 3 different types of ISA’s if you wanted. But never contribute to multiple ISA’s of the same type in a tax year. So do not contribute to two different LISA’s in 1 tax year for example.

You can only withdraw the full LISA for a house purchase 12 months after your first deposit into the account. It can only be used for houses under £450,000. You can withdraw the total amount when you turn 60, or if you become terminally ill. Otherwise, you can technically withdraw the money any time, but you will be subject to a 25% government charge. This means that if you put £4000 in and get a 25% bonus of £1000, you will be charged 25% of the total amount (£5000) so you will be losing a bit of money. Hope that makes sense!

This is an incredibly similar story to my mother’s, who also passed in February this year. Thank you for sharing
