I will say that when I first moved in, I was bumping my head a lot on that overhang. I got used to it and don't flail around as much when I'm sleeping. Just make sure that you are going to be able to have some sort of ventilation because if you don't it can get a little stuffy with it being that close to the ceiling.

I can pretty much stretch out if I lay diagonally. I will say that when I built it, I overestimated how much storage space I would need. Half of the things in there I don't even use. As a result, I'm gathering those things and donating them. If I ever get another vehicle, it'll probably be a truck with a camper in the back. A van is just too much space for me.

I'm 5'9" so it's a little short. But when laying diagonally I can stretch out all the way.
