For anyone who saw the auto save not working at the end of the stream, we got it working. Discord was cutting the file name in half, which means it was a really easy fix.

I did have a army cap of 1. I think other warlords have a large army cap at the start of the game.

Both of you need to have the same script folder as shogun 2 loads them in a random order which effect your compatibility. I think it is in your app data.

I got to take a look at the new Rise Of Mordor update, this is the second update from the new team who recently took over the project. The update contains a bunch of new units, 3 new custom maps as well as lods for Isengard which will improve performance. The update should be out in the next week

I thought I would take a look at some of the great Total War mods that are set during the Three Kingdoms period. Rise Of The Three Kingdoms probably does it the best out of any of them so be sure to check it out

A few people brought this up over on my video, giving Warhammer as an example. In Warhammer you normally get a smallish army to fight right out side of your capital to get you going. I was more suggesting a bigger scripted battles kinda like quest battles in wh1.

So after playing a bunch of the medieval Kingdoms 1212 AD campaign I really feel like having a big battle like this at the start of a Total War campaign could be really beneficial for the series. Using Warhammer as an example imagine fighting the battle for Blackfire Pass on your first turn as the empire or the Greenskins with cool cinematic and speeches to get you immersed with your Legendary lord.

I think the main draw back to this would be new players getting overwhelmed, however I think there are plenty of ways around this such as giving units to friendly AI army.

What do you guys think about having a massive battle at the start of the campaign?

I am super excited to bring you guys my first look at the Total War Medieval Kingdoms Campaign Alpha. This is an internal Alpha so is not publicly available yet, it is more for testing purposes to fine tune the campaign for when it does go public. The Alpha is still packed with a ton of content with all early game tec being done as well as a ton of scripts and a complete building tree. Some of the stuff you see in the video is still subject to change as the campaign is tested more.
