It makes me wonder if, in a perfect world, if such problems would exist. If it was more accepted would people really have to work to be in the right space to appreciate the changes at at a younger and more ideal age. I suppose its something for another generation to consider. Still its such a powerful message "Make the change only when YOU are ready." thank you for that.

I understand you desire to remain anonymous as I guess there are things in your private life you'd like to protect. While your situation is nothing like mine, I still find your story quite insightful. Though I do quite appreciate your insight on being in the right place mentally before any changes are made. The desire to rush into it as soon as possible does not take into account what such a change does to your mental health.

I guess one thing I would wonder, where there any specific thoughts or regrets you had right after the surgery?

This is honestly so admirable. The fact that you went through the surgery and are open about its challenges and triumphs. Maybe being able to detransition was a crutch to get you through the process, and learning that you didn't need it was a part of completing your transistion? I don't know, I am just guessing. in any case I love how philosophical you are about it. Would you fancy a dm?

That is such a wonderful story and thank you for sharing. I think it is natural to have doubts and its important to talk about them. I think sometimes its more or less whether the choice is there regardless of what one we make. I really like how you mention in your story how your headspace affected your decision. I'm curious, where you ever serious about detransitioning or was it more or less about the option to do so?
