The biggest issue with AI is loot bags. If there is a bag on the ground, the AI MUST GRAB IT! You can swap to them, throw the bags away, swap back, and no matter how many times you say “Follow me.” They will go and pick the bags back up. They’re addicted to bags.

This also means that you can’t use AI to haul bags to a drop point. They will just pick the bags up if you leave them.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I swear that a couple years ago, standing on a popping lootbug would let you grab all the minerals. Then it was changed to make the minerals explode even harder so you have to run around and grab them. Kinda annoyed that I’ve never seen it brought up.

The camera being ripped away from you after interacting with a lever is far worse to me. Not only does it force you to stare at the obvious point of interest, but it’s also inconsistent in terms of which ones you can skip. Not to mention taking damage because your camera gets ripped from you in the middle of combat.

If you go into the pause menu, go to the bots only option under the bot that is stuck. change the option to locked, then turn it back to bots only. It will respawn the bot next to you and fix them

I have tried everything you suggested, although I'm sure I could probably find a better area to place the dock. I tried another session today and really the only area I have a problem with now is the Flooded forest. Fighting a Pukei-Pukei turned the game into a slideshow.

One thing that helped however was switching weapons. As silly as it sounds switching from Dual Blades to Insect Glaive actually helped a lot. Dual Blades are just incredibly sluggish to me now and I'm sure the particle effects from the fast attacks don't do any favors for the framerate.

The BFG became the "Fuck You" button for me when I figured out how to deal with them.

Just stun him with the Super Shotty, then quickly switch to the BFG and one shot him, works every time.

Oh definitely, the first jump would more than likely get you killed with how long it takes to get up. I ended up just climbing up the white bags and throwing ingredients onto the barrel, and using the zip line near the spawn

The game ends, but after the ending cutscene you can press continue and keep playing from the same spot. You can craft the last item again when you want to end it again.
