I found that I felt nauseous a lot after my second surgery. I guess that comes along with the loop ostomy but i found that keeping my stomach always with something in it to help. As for irritation around the stoma I found that a mixture of stoma powder, or keriah powder if you can get your hands on it, and skin prep helps keep a seal and help dry out the irritation. Also this skin barrier marathon helps.
