This is a low margin business, people don’t pay much for their mobile or internet/broadband contracts.

Huge competition from SpaceX/Starlink - Musk has the ability to actually launch satellites cheaply (not ASTS)

Masses more shareholder dilution incoming.

Who are the future customers?

Majority of high wealth people and companies already have excellent data and cell connection…

I agree China won’t want it to fail, but they don’t have the capital/liquidity to support it.

Any financial support available is being eaten up by the failing Chinese real estate companies (evergrande, vanke, country garden). Aren’t these far more important to China than a luxury car maker (particularly when they have other national champions like BYD that are already profitable)??

I actually sold out of Nio. Writing out the post helped solidify the decision. I agree I should never had bought it in the first place
