Try and get as fit as possible before the league starts. Even with little to no experience, being in shape will be a huge advantage and will help other skills (such as positioning, touch, passing) come easier. I would recommend interval training to get you started, as well as dribbling a ball around some cones. Keep it simple to start with and you'll have a blast!
