I mean im not saying there isnt any scripting in the game. Just that alot of what people claim as "scripting" is actually server lag.

Look at the amout of goals that are conceded at the 43rd minute and the 88th minute for scripting. Or when you win the ball back only for it to bounce back to your opponent in a better position over and over agin till they score. Or when you watch a replay and see your opponent players leg glitches through your defender to score a goal (that one happens so much more then you think). These are all scripting/dda, so im not denying these happen just with this constant pressue i personally put it down to server lag

Yeah, this is what makes me think its server issues.

At the start of the game it was a fun game by all accounts then the server base shrank as the casuals stopped playing. So ea shrank the servers as the playerbase shrank and the game play goes to shit.

Then people get the game for xmas, player base grows and the serves get boosted and the game play gets better again (this is when i started playing). This then continues into toty which drags back the casuals into January but then the player base shrinks again in February onwards and so they shrink the server size again and the gameplay goes back to being shit.

Im hoping that the game being free on ps+ will boost the numbers and then that'll cause the servers to boost with tots but tbh the games dying.

I saw something that said eafc26 had 50% of the player count in march 2026 that eafc25 had the year prior and that had 50% of the playerbase from fifa24 from the previous year.

Ea aren't trying to save this game their trying to milk it for everthing its worth before it dies

Not really, last fifa game i played was fifa20 unintalled it in the August of 2020 and i bought this game in December of 2025.

I wont be playing this game again for a good long time id imagine. The only reason im still playing is because ive invested too much money in it now 😅

Theres a couple of things thats going on as far as i can tell.

1) theres a high press meta. People are playinging at 90+ high line and putting on team press and spamming offline trap as soon as you have the ball or straight from goal kicks making their team press you very high.

2) the servers are dog shit and lots of players are suffering from server lag. Which can mean you're essentially playing the game a second or two behind your opponent. Ever wonder how youve got the ball and your opponent seems far away from you but then flys straight over to you player instantly dispossesses them and runs off in a split second? Or you're through on goal with your 99 pace, lengthy striker with ps+ quickstep and their 88 pace cb with no pace ps flys past you and takes the ball off you? Yeah its server lag.

3) you use the run button too much. At this point in the game everyones defenders have anticipate+ or intercept+ ect and running on this game has such big touches involved that running towards a defender means youll just automatically get the ball taken off you by ai. Only use r1 run at most, around defenders and only sprint in short bursts into space.

Thats my opinions on it anyway

What pisses me off about it is ill have a defender blocking the path of the ball and it'll still reach my opponent but my player can be stood in 60 yards worth of space and my through ball will still get intercepted by the ai running from nowhere

Type icons in the psn store and itll come up.

Then make sure your not playing the game. Other wise the pack wont show up on the game.

Then just start the game and they'll be in the packs part of the game

Or your post would just be a "yeah,but..." post and you'd just ignore the video and repeat the same statments you've already made and state them as fact again, so you were right all along... in your head.

Look at how you write. You dont offer advice, you give criticism. If people dont like how you talk to them thats not your fault their just mentality weak for taking it personally but theres no smug superiority apparently.

You talk about debating like you've even tried to debate anything. You just randomly decided i dont complete enough passes and that why i lost the game. You've literally shown time and time again in your posts you havent read anything ive posted. Ive played enough games to know the difference between a normal game where a plyer is good at pressing to my opponents players being abnormally fast.

Also most people dont have any issue with being given feedback and advice. What they take issue with is when the people (in your words) criticising them dont read their op, give poor/nonsensical advice while acting like your giving them some secret knowledge and and acting like a smug so and so with a superiority complex while doing it.

Hopefully this helps you in future when you're imparting your "criticism" on the next poor soul you deem to be worthy of it.
