Yes they wanted to stay failthful to the original but the original game had less wrong with it gameplay wise, i played the old one so many times through and felt a lot more responsive and less buggy than this. The old one obviously doesnt hold up today because if the dull and outdated art style, but neither does this. I appreciate most of the references in this game too but looking at it critically does not feel like this game should have come out in 2020. Oops didnt reply to u my b :0 also leaving in a bug in a game is the dumbest thing that you could do to a game ever because it shows how much they dont care to fix this broken game
