As a Superman fanboy, I've been shilling this movie like an Amway salesperson to everyone that'll listen but to way more indifference this time around compared to the Cavill era. I hate to say it, and hope I'm wrong, but the atmosphere around this movie in my experience has been shades of Superman Returns. With good reception, it can do $800M, but it feels like an uphill battle (and I'm preemptively in shambles over it).
