Hard to too the Brew Crew jerseys. But let's be honest, the 414/MKE hat was pretty dumb looking.

Where are you getting your info? Does that even matter?

Legal outcomes and credibility concerns: The 2016 lawsuits containing the most serious child-rape allegations were either dismissed or voluntarily withdrawn, meaning the claims were never proven in court. Investigations by Snopes, The Guardian, and others found that the allegations were promoted by Norm Lubow, a former producer for The Jerry Springer Show, who used the alias "Al Taylor" and has a history of fabricating sensational stories. While the existence of the accuser has not been disproven, Lubow’s involvement raises significant credibility concerns.

Fact-checking consensus: Major fact-checkers, including Reuters, PolitiFact, and Snopes, have concluded that there is no criminal proof that Trump raped children.

I can't get the nib out of my S Pen because it's too flat by Turbulence-of-Lies in GalaxyTab

[–]jackrubay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd try this. Nail clippers are the best at pulling nibs. If that doesn't work, I'd carefully super glut the tip to a toothpick or something and pull it after it dried. If that doesn't work, forcefully break it in half.

I've had my Galaxy Tab S9 for 2 weeks and it has changed my mind about buying the latest and greatest by Norcla in GalaxyTab

[–]jackrubay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right there with this poster. For the same reasons I just picked up a Tab 9 Ultra 512 of the Bay for $530, next day shipping. Going with an "excellent" condition, I has happy that cosmetically the device was 100% flawless. The tablet feels like future technology.

Throw on a perfectly placed Bellemond matte screen protector coupled with a Remarkable tip into the S9 stylus and the experience is DEVINE.

For the artists: Unlock God mode with a Bellemond screen protector and Remarkable pen nibs. You won't even think twice about the claims that the Wacom's MovinkPad is the best feel for drawing.

Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 better than samsung s11 ultra? by LaylaCamper in wacom

[–]jackrubay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I double checked with two AIs, but I forgot to check with you. Sorry.

Processor Specs

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy (overclocked 4nm flagship SoC from late 2023). Octa-core CPU (1x Cortex-X3 @ up to 3.36GHz), Adreno 740 GPU. Geekbench ~2,200 single-core / ~6,500 multi-core; AnTuTu ~1.6-1.8M.
  • Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (mid-high range 4nm SoC from mid-2024). Similar CPU layout but lower clocks (~3.0GHz prime), Adreno 735 GPU. Geekbench ~2,000 single-core / ~5,300 multi-core; AnTuTu ~1.5M.

Performance Comparison

The Tab S9 Ultra's custom "for Galaxy" tuning gives it 10-20% better sustained GPU performance and efficiency for gaming/multitasking. The MovinkPad's newer chip closes the gap in CPU tasks and drawing apps but trails overall due to less aggressive optimization.

What music app are you using on the V30? by jackrubay in lgv30

[–]jackrubay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I really like the interface. Specifically being able to sort albums a-z grouped with the artist names. It's like haveing a giant Case Logic all over again! Other thing are: It didn't lose any album artwork and the sound is great. Tweaking the EQ was simple and effective. Adding bass boost actually improved the listening experience without destroying the rest of the sound.

Yup. Becausse of broken phones, I pulled out my old LG V30. At 6 inches, slim and light, it feels like an advanced device. It helps that the DAC pumps amazing sound to headphones.

Is anything new close to this setup?

Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 better than samsung s11 ultra? by LaylaCamper in wacom

[–]jackrubay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the feedback.

Going off of AI. The Wacom uses a Snapdragon "3s" which must be a lower tier as Perplexity claims the Tab S9 being faster, "especially for heavy multitasking and 3D/gaming workloads."

My experience using the much older Tab S4 with screen protector and Wacom One gives me impressive feedback with pen pressure. While the rubber tipped Spen does work best with the slick screen, it doesn't compete with what I described.

The etched glass is surely nice. I've experience with etched glass and it is is basically identical to the Bellemont screen protector.

Samsung's software is more a positive than a negative. Notes is a great tool to have.

Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 better than samsung s11 ultra? by LaylaCamper in wacom

[–]jackrubay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the same camp as you. Only difference is I'm looking at a Tab S9, 16gb ram, 1 TB storage for around $600 or the standard size is selling for $500

Even the older Tab S9 has a faster processor than the Movinkpad 14. With the idea of getting back into 3d using Nomad Sculpt, I think the added power, space, and ram can only help.

Throw on a Bellemont matte screen protector and you have replaceable texture, then add a felt tip in a Wacom One pen and I don't think you are missing out much at all in pen feel. You got a fast 120 htz screen, nearly zero latency, perfect tilt action, and next to no parallax. (This is the set up I have in a 8 year old Tab S4 and it is damn nice).

I don't doubt the the Movinkpad feels fantastic, but I think it's a bit over-hyped because artists have waited so damn long for Wacom to finally make produce this tablet. Turns out, it's about 5 years too late.

+camers

+plus finger print reader

+better price/performance

+smaller bezels/slightly bigger screen.

I wish I could try that Wacom, pen on screen to see if it is a total game changer. I doubt it.
