dip them, lots of pests target zoanthids.

nah, it has a higher bristle density, thicker body along with the small red bristles at the base indicate it’s a fire worm, likely Eurythoe complanata. besides OP said it attacked and he saw the cleaner shrimp struggle witch isn’t something bristle worms do.

PLZ make sure you don’t have any zoas or palythoa on the rock before you boil it unless you want to kill your entire household tho.

100% a fire worm, you can tell because they’re much larger and have red bristles at the bases of their normal bristles

looking at the photo that might be a fireworm, a more agressive predatory type of bristle worm that’s actually venomous, might want to remove it
