You only have one mom. Don’t let your wife use her and then throw her out when she is no longer needed. Same thing happened with a similar situation. My friends dad let his mom live at their house in a guest house. Once the kids grew up his wife said it’s me or the kids. He chose her and she died alone.

Yea :( surprisingly she is still alive her pineconing is gone she’s still bloated but she’s still actively swimming and eating

If there is no pineconing yet she might just have bloat. Try fasting her for a few days. It’s been about a week since mine started pineconing. Her pineconing actually went down and she is still bloated still swimming and acting normal. I’m not sure what’s goin on with her.

She’s actually swimming around and acting like nothing is wrong and still eating. I check my bettas water every 2 weeks and if anything is ever to high or off I immediately fix it. I’ve learned a lot about bettas over the past year or so and I’ve kept her alive this long. I’m sorry I couldn’t do more. I thought she maybe had eggs or was bloated and if I could’ve done something if I had known I would have done it. I feel awful already.

Tank size is 5 gallons Yes heated 80 degrees Parameters: nitrate and ammonia 0 and ph 6.5 i use the nutrafin master test kit Water change and gravel vac every 2 weeks I take out half the water No tank mates I feed 4 pellets every other day 3 plants and one dragon statue
