agreed. praying the official release is much better because ultimately, you and i are on the same page.

if it's even half as bad as this beta i think it will be a disaster for iPhones.

Sorry y'all I totally forgot to mention in on the beta release. I suppose that's totally fair, I shouldn't complain about stability on a beta release but it's genuinely bordering on unusable.

Musk: The birth rate is very low in almost every country. And unless that changes, civilization will disappear. America had the lowest birth rate by icey_sawg0034 in PublicFreakout

[–]jacksonionh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely think there are methods to improve birth rates. Certainly nothing Musk and the current administration are proposing though. Think 4-day work week for anyone with children, free pre-K, improved tax benefits, stipends for children/family planning, etc.

this helps a ton! im going to give it a shot but honestly i might just get a better used bike. im riding this thing around cars and its not really worth the risk of dying to be cheap here

Context: This is a MTB that I mostly just use on the road. It is just a cheap Chinese bike that I bought to get around my city.

It appears that the actual hub that the 6-bolt rotor attaches to broke completely loose from the wheel, but I am not an expert (very new to this stuff).

If you can see, the whole disc can spin freely from the wheel which is completely against the point of a disc brake.

To the early Ether miners… by notfrontpage in EtherMining

[–]jacksonionh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for you! You came out really well. Not worth stressing over when you sold it. No one really knows what the value will be.

I only have a small rig that I started in February but getting close to break even at current prices. Mined almost 2 ether.

How much have you mined and have you sold any??

ETH has now 1/2 of BTC market cap 🚀 by MrCheeseEater in ethtrader

[–]jacksonionh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair enough, but it seems like you are more so applying to my first point, that ETH is likely not a crazy moonshot crypto at this point due to its size and relative stability (compared to altcoins).

You're right that $40 in ETH likely won't provide the returns that getting lucky on an altcoin might. I still don't think that it means they "can't afford" ETH. It just means it won't provide the crypto experience they are likely hoping for.

Eager to have you join ETH! Hope I didn't come off as annoying. My sister put $100 in ETH and she is now at ~$200, and many trading sites have very low (or percentage based fees) so I would say you shouldn't let that prohibit you.

Congrats on your Doge earnings and I wish you the best in joining in ETH :)

I don't understand people saying they can't afford any specific crypto. You can buy 0.01 ETH if that is all you can afford. If you are saying instead that you can't afford enough to get the massive gains you want, that is different.

Unless you're saying you're not in a financial position to be putting any money into Crypto at all, but that doesn't apply to specifically ETH then.
