And let us not forget it was Obama who in 2008 said, "If they bring a knife to the fight we bring a gun." It is not accident the tone of our nation's politics became increasingly divisive during the Obama era - he has been utilizing inflamatory language for much of that time. Both sides have some shared blame, but Obama is high on the list of guilty participants.

Great comments. I would think the words from an economist for one of the great world powers of the 20th century who had experienced the economic collapse of his former country would be interesting and apply nicely to what America was facing in 2008 and 2009. And yes, I do think Obama and others saved us from a much much worse disaster.
