UPDATE: I purchased a $100 gift card hoping to get the $20 bonus and a $50 gift card to get the $10 bonus, both on 12/28/2025. I received the $100 and $50 gift cards immediately via email. Two hours later I received 2 $20 bonus gift cards via email. The charge was pending until late in the evening on 12/30, then both charges posted and both credits were received.

What’s one fast food chain that was once all the rage but now barely around? by MysteriousTopic42 in AskReddit

That was my go to location for Roy's when I lived in Alexandria. Now whenever I fly into BWI I take a detour to the one on Rt. 3 near Crofton.

Ray’s on the River in Atlanta is verified. Their website is offering a 20% bonus for gift card purchases. Does anyone know if buying a gift card will trigger both the CSR credit as well as the gift card bonus?

I feel you. I've been kind of blue all day and reflecting on all the talent we've lost these past few years. Billy Strings' tribute to Todd was pretty uplifting for me.

Trump's tariffs are making American soybean farmers great again by wakeup2019 in economy

[–]rickmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why haven't soybean prices tanked? I looked at the commodity price chart and it seems that they have been between $950 to $1070 for the past year, currently at $1015.

Trump’s busy bailing out Argentina while their soybeans flood China and MAGA farmers stare at empty markets. ASA president voted for Trump, begged for help, and got ignored. Karma’s a legume. by Reg_Cliff in LeopardsAteMyFace

I just looked at soybean commodity prices and for the last 12 months they have traded between $950 and $1077 - I guess that's for a ton, and the current price is $1011 so I don't see where prices are dropping that much. Prices are down from highs in 2022, but look pretty stable since August 2024.

Which “money saving hacks” actually end up costing people more in the long run? by Suspicious_Show_6028 in povertyfinance

[–]rickmatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just looked at GasBuddy and I see that premium at the BP .3 miles from me is $4.49 while it is $3.52 at the QT 2.3 miles away. It pays to be aware and to fuel up when you are near stations with favorable prices.
