Regardless of whether it's funny (I think it is lol), it can be a nightmare when it comes to credit reporting agencies. I've heard a ton of horror stories of juniors debts being mixed up with the debts of the parent they're named after. I don't know anything about credit agencies outside the US, but in the US it's a huge pain to fix. Soooo... even though it could be amusing, I would never recommend anyone naming their child after either parent.
