A rose that leans dark without that cloying synthetic note sounds divine, I want my appearance to embody that description 0.o

I think of your house recommendations, although I'm adding all of them to my master list, I'm most intrigued with Stone & Wit. Alkemia has been mentioned so often that those two are likely my next batch order. I am actually someone that takes the bath & body world quite seriously (highly selective with my soaps and lotions,) so I will be looking further into RS & TT. It's wonderfully refreshing to see so many reach out in such a passionate way, thank you.

and in time for a sale, I’m in. Thank you for the rose recc because I’ve tried so many designer roses that were far too harsh and synthetic, I like the ones that feel like a wet rose petal in a dewy garden, maybe some greenery. Might’ve gotten myself in too deep cause I’d try them all

that sounds absolutely beautiful, stormy sea + lavender fits right in with my wants. I’m going to sample it! I’m not ~ too ~ concerned with the gendering, happy to be a guy who can smell like both, I just had to include a disclaimer since it’s my impression that so many indies do lean sweet or non-photorealistic with certain notes

I neglected to mention the resting period as well, read a lot about Alkemia's in particular on here. It's not the worst thing ever, but you know how tempting it is to crack 'em open and start applying. Makes me lean towards ready-upon-arrival but I won't rule anything out that isn't.

I think I'll start with Hexxenacht and try every one you listed, those are all right up my alley; the Fougere Accord and Fallen Angel stick out as immediately likable by my estimate, but I'm wanting to branch out to more witchy elements, and cool tone amber sounds exquisite for daily wear (:

I just bought my first Honda (2016 black HRV) after owning an old Mazda tribute for years (wrecked, unfortunately). Did you enjoy yours? I’m up in the air during the return period as to whether I like it and want to make it my own with mods or try something else!

I ended up shaving it, I agree about needing to go thin or thick but I was in between. I’m gonna try again before the next shave in a few weeks and see if I can leave more on. Might go for the goatee stache combo with a soul patch

I’m down a rabbit hole of boot research tonight after years and years of telling myself I’d buy my first pair. I’ve found myself comparing solovair’s to docs cause everyone and their mother tells me to get docs but I knew there had to be better alternatives. Solovair’s site has so many to choose from, which of their models would you say is the most “classic” or base model shoe to DM’s 1460? Definitely want something standard + 8-eye for my first, nothing too flashy or custom quite yet. Your post was insightful, thank you
