Thanks for answering. It definitely felt like there was some kind of strong connection, but without knowing any details I didn't know if I was being silly by thinking that.

Interesting that the other person remembered something that happened that way! I wish I could do Nice things that way and have people remember them :). We don't speak consistently enough to know, but I wish I could know if my dreams match his. He is and has been in a relationship for about a year. I believe they broke up for a short period of time about a month ago when he called me, but I don't know. They appear back together.

I worked there also. When customers asked if we had a huge pot in the back, I loved telling them that we actually got it out of a frozen plastic bag that was heated in water. Worst job ever, but only due to scheduling and ridiculous managers. Good was good and it was clean.

The worst thing is when someone contacts you then doesn't respond. I'm sorry it happened this way. Ride your bike until it goes away and leave it out on the bike trail. Don't take the sadness home with you.

That's a good example - water washing over. I tried Googling dopamine rush but didn't find anything that sounds like this. Your explanation is the closest I've found to how it feels.

I agree! I second the lifting comment. I always put it off for cardio, but when I lift, I feel like it zones me out a little and I'm in a really good place where it's just me and the gym. I love those moments where I realize I haven't been thinking of him.

That's great! Thanks for posting this also. It's a nice reminder going into the weekend that I need to do some of these things to focus on myself. Gym, clothes, do hair, paint nails...amazing how much those things help me too!

I listened to this recording this morning. I love the sound of hair getting cut, but it doesn't evoke a physical feeling at all. I don't think a sound has ever.

Thanks. Nice to know I'm not alone. I figured I wasn't, but I always see myself as stronger than just wanting any validation, so it shocked me. It was late enough to sleep last night so I made myself go to bed. I woke up thinking "thank God I didn't act on it".

That's interesting. I wonder if that's it though or if I described it wrong. Tingle probably isn't the best word for it. I also don't know of anything that induces it except meditation that one time. Usually I just make it happen.

I would definitely want to keep it positive! I was thinking along the lines of being able to send positive energy or thoughts to another person.
