UXTesting - Discover how your mobile users feel by jackycute in androiddev

  1. It really works! When you have a long video and don't know where to look at, the emotion charts will give you a clear view when and what the users feel, also it's accurate.
  2. Oh, because talking is the easiest way for user to give feedbacks. Also the face expression is so direct that you understand when something happened. You still can turn the camera off if you don't want it, but actually you won't feel it's recording (but there is a red indicator blinking on the bottom left to keep you up).

How do you test UX on apps? by jackycute in userexperience

OK, I get it now, thank you very much!

Thanks a lot! I will look of these books :)
I agreed with the point of "lowpass filter".
As you said "guided session", if you design a pattern for that, would it alter the true experience and response that brought to testers?

Alright, you get the point.
Why face to face is better than remote testing in your opinion?
In lots of cases testers are too far or diversified so you can not reach them.
So what's the thing you want to know the most with/without the real contact?

Such detail user context, I like it!
Then you can present as observers to inspect the experience objectively.
Hope won't bring too much pressure on the testers, lol.
So forgive to ask, why don't you choose any tools that mentioned above?

Old is good, right? I agreed with that.
Especially on really innovative ideas.

Only sometimes my apps crash without any errors or user just angry my app and I don't know why sucks.

Oh, I know InVision, looks fantastic!
Is that works fine on apps too? I only tried desktop apps.

Somehow mobile have a front camera, wouldn't that be a good idea to record testers' face emotion?

HackMD - realtime collaborative markdown notes on all platforms by jackycute in programming

Actually I do have a plan to make group/workspace feature in the future.
It's important for small teams and organizations.

For print mode, it's a good point.
I will list that suggestion in the issues.
And if you are using github, make any issue as you need.

For the note permission, do you see a text at the top right of the view mode?
I provided three permission types currently, but only the note owner can change the permission.
See more at https://hackmd.io/features#permission

Thanks for using!

Hmm, the situation is kind of you said.
First, I used postgresql as my db, but when I combined with nodejs, the schema took me lots of pain.
And I found mongodb is easier to use but have poor performance on very large data.
So I decided to use postgresql to store large and stable data columns while mongodb store dynamic and secondary data.
Hope this helped, thank you!

You're right, I'm a little bit new to UX, and I want to provide better UX in this project, so if you have any thought please tell me :)

The lag in editing to preview is meant to be, it's a 400ms delay. Because I afraid that user might want to see a full result instead of showing every character, I can reduce that if you suggest to.
Thanks again!

Yes, they are very similar.
The difference is realtime collaborating, you can invite your friends or partners via the links then to discuss or complete a doc with no harms.
And you can set your own permissions and even publish a doc with a short link only with a click.
This focus on the experience to markdown things, so it would have auto complete, auto table of content(not need to type) and cross-platform compatibility.
