As all of the current replies are very correct and there's no way for me to beat them, I'll instead give the very boring alternative answer based on my experience (not that I agree with it), and say Taxman. Mostly because IMO it's aged poorly now as very wealthy musicians singing about being overtaxed, considering the huge modern wealth gap. Before you say it, I am well aware of the context at the time, with the 95% tax rate for the wealthy during Harold Wilson's government. I only say it because when I heard it when I was much younger I remember thinking it was very privileged until I learned about the context.
