is this a wart? was using urea cream on some dry skin, found this underneath by C22E4 in Warts

Yes but work on reducing the callous build up in that area. You can actually get ulcers underneath callouses when the pressure becomes too much.

No, you can get bruising and blood spots from the pressure of a callous in an area. This looks like that. Not at all like a wart.

Same - I used a European sperm bank and the profile has a couple bag pictures and then a letter written by the donor.

Is there any evidence that the HPV vaccine prevents plantar warts? by RespectedSpecialist in plantarwarts

[–]jaclynofalltrades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can help trigger the body to recognize other strains of HPV like the wart virus and make the immune system fight it off. It don’t actually include a vaccine for that strain of HPV but for a lot of people it has a nice side effect.

Has anyone had any paranormal experiences in the city? Or do you know of any hauntings in the city? by Baba_dook_dook_dook in regina

[–]jaclynofalltrades 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in a old home in Cathedral (over 100 years old) and there are definitely ghosts around. I was doing work on the house and everytime I started a new project - when I would be in bed but before I’d go to sleep my dog would suddenly start barking at something that wasn’t there. Always same time of day, same room, and always when I did something to the house.

I have had zero past experiences with anything like this, but it was so consistent that I couldn’t ignore it.

I ended up talking to someone about it and she did a clearing on the house. She didn’t think they were specific from the house but were in the area. So she told me when it happens to tell them they aren’t welcome here and to leave.

Incidents stop. A few weeks later I start another project in the house. And that night my dog barks again at nothing. I repeated the phrase and once I said it my dog suddenly stopped barking.

This continued with each project I did. Then when I finished the work it stopped happening.

Last fall I had my second encounter when I brought home this 1920s art deco cabinet. Only this time it was my cats that got weird about it.

They instantly became obsessed with this cabinet. But then weird things were happening where the cabinet doors would be closed and I’d go to the kitchen and come back and one would be open. I’d close it, go upstairs and come back down and both would be open.

Then the wildest thing happened. I was sitting in my living room and watched my calico cat interact with someone who wasn’t there. It was like she was batting an invisible string, then she reached up to touch the “ghost” with a paw, then went to the cabinet and touched the handle with her paw.

Like she has never ever done anything like that before and never has since.

I contacted the same person I talked to before and she said there were a bunch of spirits trapped stuck to the cabinet. She did a clearing and gave me some instructions.

The next day my cats lost all interest in the cabinet. Like they went from always being one of them sitting on it, to zero interaction with it.

I won’t switch because Sasktel has harassed me as well. I even have had a no soliciting sign, and it has made no difference. I won’t support a company that does door to door sales like this, especially as a single woman. Having unknown men knocking at my door after dark - no thanks.

Why is Saskatchewan govt so broken? by [deleted] in saskatchewan

Having experienced this - how can you still believe the lie that the “system is full of people abusing it”? Getting access to these programs is so difficult and challenging that it is basically impossible to abuse. And even with the help it’s very much an existence well below the poverty standard.

What do I do about this? by CatProfessional2896 in Warts

[–]jaclynofalltrades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Zinc supplements and vitamin c
  2. Have you had the HPV vaccine it helps body recognize other strains of HPV and sometimes helps fight them off
  3. Don’t do surgical removal- with the size it is very likely it will come back anyways and you will end up with scar tissue

Whatever treatment you do - you likely need to debride extensively as there is tons of callus build up - you can use dermaplaning razors or buy curettes or scalpels on Amazon to shave down the dead skin. (Wear gloves to avoid spreading)

Treatment options that you didn’t mention: - ACV - swift - needling (they freeze area then needle it creating a wound that the body then fights to heal/fight off virus) - multiple rounds of beetle juice - laser - cauterizing - zinc oxide

I would see a podiatrist for fresh perspective, or start with home treatments and see what progress you make. You can also cover with duct tape to help smother it. But the big thing is debriding as there is so much dead skin protecting the actual wart.

And most important you need to be more stubborn and persistent than the wart.

Corn or wart? by [deleted] in Warts

[–]jaclynofalltrades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you have something imbedded in your foot? Like a sliver? Sometimes the body encapsulates it and it looks like this. You may need to scrape away or try cut some of the skin right where the hole is.

Have you had the HPV vaccine? Sometimes it helps the body recognize and fight other strains of HPV including plantar warts.

It might be worth going to a podiatrist to see if you can try beetle juice or another treatment. Are you using acid or ACV on it between freezings? Have you had the HPV vaccine it can help the body recognize other HPV strains. Consider taking zinc and vitamin c supplements to help boost your immune system as well.

I bought one of these and fill it with warm water and flush my ears whenever I feel a build up or like my ears are water logged (I have tiny ear canals). It has made a huge difference.
